Background
Milt Connors was born in Troy, NY in upstate New York. He holds an M.A. and B.A. in studio art from SUNY- Albany. His work is largely influenced and informed by the re-contextualized imagery that populate his work, culled from understandably dismissed sources, referencing the emptiness of the commonplace in the context of consumer capitalism, its subjects, objects, and cultural trivialities resulting from a direct relationship with his immediate, daily surroundings.
